but in mine it is all MERRY and BRIGHT! The retail world is a bit ahead of themselves. I figured while I have it fresh on my mind lets show and tell.
I did a large and grand display with the front fireplace. It will actually be in the Utah Valley Magazine for the Nov/Dec issue.
I decided to do some different Tree's this year. I have been really bored of the same ol red and green so I did what I am calling the "Dear Lizzie" Tree (a store located in Highland, the most amazing cute dazzling store in the world).
It is all sparkle and glitz with a tiny touch of sorbet pink.
The classic candy cane tree is always a winner.
A Rustic Country Tree
I love Flocked Tree's. I feel like they are so wonderland and magical. I added a touch of blue into this tree to add in the new trend of BLUE EVERYTHING.
This Tree ended up being my very favorite this year. It is a bird tree. I used a lot of birdcages that were just around the floor and added a teal burlap for some great color.
I used these large glass ornaments and filled them with bird seed and fake snow to make them pop since they tend to disappear in the tree's.
I love to use large unexpected objects in tree's. this tree was really chubby so I knew I had the support and room to add this large birdcage. I frosted it with some flocking to make it stand out. I loved the way it turned out.
