Random Before and Afters

Since I really wanted to get this blog started but never posted anything I decided to do some before and after's from awhile back that I have done. They are really quite boring but turned out really cute. 

This was a small chairside table that I sanded and painted a white egg shell and put a light glaze on, sanded it again. I hated the boring large opening so I mod podge some blue pattern paper on the back splash. 

 It turned out really cute. I even kept the handle cause I quite liked the vintage look.

This one is a chair that I have had since I got married. It has stayed in DJ's office. I really wanted to reupholster it so I bought some cheap burlap and went to work with the staple gun.

 I painted the arms and did a deep distressing. I wrapped it in burlap, added some ruffles on the back and some rosettes on the front corner....

SUCCESS! I think I might add some tufts to the back again, but for now it is a finished project. I promise once the craziness of life has settled I will blog about my newer projects I have going on.
